I took this picture in the city of Gijón, in the north of Spain while testing a Leica M11 Monochrom. In order to try to celebrate Leica's 100th Anniversary I mounted my oldest lens on it: an Elmar 5cm f/3,5 from 1926, so in some way this picture covers a span of 99 years. I think it's really incredible how Leica cameras and lenses last. I gave personally an enlarged print of this picture to Peter Karbe while visitng the Leitz-Park at the end of June/2025. This picture was also published on issue XII of the Magazine "The Camera from Wetzlar"
